He's there!

HUNGARY BUDAPEST MISSION

11 September 2012

 Dear Decker Family:

This e-mail is to advise you that Elder Decker has arrived safely in the Hungary Budapest Mission.  We are excited for this opportunity of serving with him.

Attached is a copy of a photograph taken of your missionary with [the mission president and his wife] in the Budapest Hungary Mission Office.

Following your missionary’s arrival, President Smith conducted a brief interview and welcomed him to the Mission.  The missionaries had dinner with President and Sister Smith and were then taken on a brief tour of Budapest – seeing Hero’s Square, Gellert Hill (where the country was dedicated for the preaching of the Gospel), and other landmarks.

Tomorrow after some brief training, companionship and city assignments will be made.  The missionaries will depart to their new area of service, with their companions, and will immediately begin service.

We have asked the missionaries to e-mail their families on Preparation Day (Monday).  You should expect to hear from your missionary then.
