Családom és Anyukám,
Your last week sounds
like it went really well. I totally forgot everything about Valentine's day
until I read your email. Yeah, my life is going crazy right now.
Before I begin again, keep going on that indexing! Sounds awesome!
So for my life. Lets just say our district leader said to us that he has not
seen a harder working companionship in his entire mission. We are destroying!
Last week we finally got 2 new progressing investigators! Blessings are really
coming because of our patience and hard work. We are so grateful to God for
everything we have been able to do although we are really young missionaries
with big goals. This week we are committing two people to baptism (the two new
progressors). Their names are Ferenc and Miklos. Pray for them!
Three cool things went on last week. Last Wednesday I went on splits with Elder
Lynch. He is in his 2nd transfer, and so I spent a day with him over in
Székesfehérvár. It was a lot of fun. This is weird to say, but he reminded me
of Zach. We basically just went streeting the entire day. I got them two
contacts. One was kind of fun. I told a lady we were going to teach them about
FHE, so she gave me her number, and now they are going to have to hold FHE with
them. Interesting right? I am going to try doing that again.
Last Saturday was Zone Training. The cool thing about that is the Zone Leaders
asked Elder Hunnicutt and I to give a training on Finding. It was fun telling
people my ways of finding, and saying how great it was, and how much I enjoy
it. I truly do like it, and I have had a lot of great experiences from it.
Hopefully we converted a few people to finding :) I guess there has been
problems with people getting out there and tracting or streeting or whatever.
We don't have a problem with that, we get a lot of finding every week, but that
is because we are desiring to find that prepared soul that is willing to come
unto Christ through baptism. This week we are expecting to be a little more
crazier. YEAH!
Last thing was just a funny thing Dávid's mom said to me yesterday during
the program. I was explaining to them that transfers are in a week and I might
leave. Bless the family, but none of them want me to leave. They want me to
stay longer. Anyway, Ibolya (the mom), seeing this may be a problem in regards
to me baptizing dávid said this, "There is no buts, maybes, or ifs, you
are baptizing my son, ok?" I thought it was super cute that this mother
wants me to baptize her son so bad. We will see what happens with that. (Once
again a bad translation. Remember that my life is all in Hungarian now, so
things get mixed up)
Thought of these before I ended my email, so they are totally random.
1- I ate lunch at a place called Lucifer's pizza. It was really good
2- Our mission leader now holds German class and missionaries are invited to
hopefully get people interested in that.
I went once and I learned some German though Hungarian. Here is proof:
der - ferfi

der käse - sajt
das háus- ház
das wasser - viz
der lehrer - ferfi tanar

ha "ung" van akkor mindig die van a szo elött mint, die

There's other stuff, but feel free to tell Trevor I learned things about his
language through one of the hardest languages in the world. :) Probably don't
say that, but I had a lot of fun learning some German.
Tell Brenna I love her and I think she is adorable :D and awesome of course.
sok szeretettel
