It is always possible to be happy

Anyukám és családom,
This last week I also taught about a Character of Christ. We had Zone Conference last week which entailed that I would be giving a little training. President asked us to teach about a character of Christ so I decided to teach about patience. I didn't have the best patience when I started my mission. I would get anxious a lot, and this caused me to be unhappy. I have learned patience really well, and I have found it to be the most important trait. Because faith is closely related to having to wait for the things, if we don't have patience it will cause every other trait to fail, especially if it causes us to lose faith. I decided that ther are three good ways to develop faith. 1-Listen= Must learn to listen to eachother and to the spirit. If we stand still for a moment and what for the impressions of the spirit which will cause us to better trust in God. 2-Trust in God= If you are anxious, worrying or unhappy it basically means you are not trusting in God. If we truly believe that God will always hold up his promises he has given us, there is never a need to worry. 3-Forgive= Unfortunately we will always make mistakes and so will our neighbors, our leaders, and any living being that dwells on earth. We must be willing to accept the failures of ourselves and others and continue in faith in Christ that all will be corrected. Therefore there is no need to worry. Just have patience and endure well with a bright hope in Christ and especially a smile on your face. Through trials, hardships, stress, and any other difficult situation, it is always possible to be happy.
Alma 17:11
And the Lord said unto them also: Go forth among the Lamanites, thy brethren, and establish my word; yet ye shall be patient in long-suffering and afflictions, that ye may show forth good examples unto them in me, and I will make an instrument of thee in my hands unto the salvation of many souls.

In summary that was my Christmas training.
I  got my papers submitted to get my IDP (International Driving Permit). For it I had to do a little driving lesson with one of the senior couples. I am happy to say that after almost not driving for 2 years, I can still drive :)
We have a new bap date! She is a really cool lady around 25. Turns out she met with missionaries around a year ago, but because of her life partner things didn't work out, so the missionaries dropped them, and she hasn't had contact with them in a long time. In the last 4 months she kicked him out because he started turning alcoholic, and she wants to start a new life. During this time she also starting thinking about the missionaries again, and wondered what had happened to them. Luckily Elder Smith is an amazing missionary and he followed the spirit and found her again. Wasn't too hard because she actually lives only a floor down in our building. Anyway we have met with her now 3 times, and she already wants to get baptized. She is scheduled for February 22nd. We are excited for her.
We can talk about anything else in two days. I was also in a choir, but I am lazy and I will tell you about it soon.
Have a great Christmas Eve!

LOVES
