Crazy, but true!

Anyukám és Családom,

This last week we went to the zoo. Neat huh? We also had a bike tour with our ward. We all biked up to Dunaszög where we played soccer, cooked over a fire. Skipped rocks in the Danube, and really enjoyed ourselves. I lied though. Most people biked up there, we have no bikes so we used our nice air conditioned car. I hate opels...

The baptism was good once it started. We had to turn on the font so we got there at 2 o'clock to do it. The pool didn't work at all. So we were calling everyone for a half hour trying to get someone to help. That is when our baptismal candidate showed up with all of his friends and mother. They were super cool about it all as I explained we may not have water. During all this panic, and as I was put in responsibility to solve everything, this random guy walked in at 2:45 and says he has to wash his hands and then he will go start tuning the piano that will take an hour and a half. I just gave up and said ok. Finally someone came and got the font turned on at 2:50. Things were looking good until our candidate forgot extra clothes, I had to run home and get my talk (I had prepared the wrong one in the end), the Bishop said he couldn't come anymore. After saying so, there was one seasoned member there and I asked him about it. There has to be someone from the bishopric for the baptism to count. So he called the Bishop to get him to come. By this time people had finally come. So to distract everyone we turned on the Restoration video for everyone to watch. Our candidate finally got back, the bishop showed up, the movie ended, and now it was 4 o'clock. I gave an improvised talk about baptism. It was really good if I don't mind saying. I even had scriptures. Elder Thomas baptized. The baptism ended after another talk. There was great süti. We ate and we conquered. I think that was the most chaotic baptism of my life. No big deal, the confirmation  was amazing and the testimonies after were inspiring, and I can go happy. Our new member has to be the most prepared person I have ever met. He is planning to marry a member already. Whoops! I may have gotten a Mormon family. I couldn't be happier :)

All I can say I will never be nervous to give a blessing, or give a talk, or bear testimony again. After doing each a 100 times in my mission in Hungarian, I don't think it could get any harder...

Don't forget the church is true!!! :)

sok szeretettel
