Figure it out, and I'll praise you!

July 18, 2012

Mother and family,

First things first, the package was wonderful. I know how much work you put into getting those things together and getting it shipped, so I really appreciate for still helping me out even though I am so far away... Provo far away. I really can't remember what you wrote me in the package at this moment so I will answer those questions. I do remember what you wrote about Grandma and Grandpa, and can I say I am grateful for them. Their prayers are working. The Hungarian language is coming really fast. I can't wait to be the ösi.

The days are blending together now. I cannot remember the different days very well. Everything has become very habitual and the same. I did teach my first lesson without memorizing Hungarian lines. As in, I just went in and spoke Hungarian. It is cool, I know.

Sunday was yet again my favorite day. For the devotional Jenny Oaks Baker came. She is the daughter of Elder Oaks, and is a professional violinist who has done it all. So for the devotional she gave little thoughts and then played beautiful (gyönyörü) Violin solos. Oh they were beautiful. She was amazing. She then had her four kids, ten and younger play piano, guitar, cello, and violin. They were better than I ever wish to be. It was way cool.

This last week I have also learned a lot about Hungary. Things like it is way hot in the Summers so you sweat through your tie, and there is no air conditioning basically anywhere, so it is always hot. Also one of their favorite things to eat is pig fat with spices. (I forgot what it is called) And they do the kissy thing in which missionaries are supposed to avoid. It is going to be way fun.

The three new things that happened today is I got a haircut. It something different so I enjoyed it. If you really want to know it looks like it always does. The other thing is the ösi started consencration week today. All Hungarian for them. I have already gone and talked to them. They still know words I do not know, which is good. The other thing is my good friend Tanner Pierce from college came today. He is going to Albania and is in my Zone. It is going to be fun to have someone I will see from home a lot.

szeretettel,

Decker elder

Figure out what this means and I'll praise you :)

Knowing how to say it would be even better. We kind of say it a lot.
