I did get the package and it was much appreciated.
MTC is just an enclosed campus full of boys and women
learning of the gospel where the dorms are like Helamen Halls. I think that was
a pretty good description.
I did not know it has been hitting triple digits. All I knew
is it has been pretty hot. You don't hear much about what is going on outside
of this place. I keep on wanting to look up things because I am curious, but
then I realize I have no Google.
Zach is quite a trooper. I've said it all my life. Tell him
I think he is amazing and keep up the hard work. It is good missionary
training.
I unfortunately have not been able to go to the temple since
I have been here because it is closed. My P-days have been very boring, because
I have nothing to do.
As it turns out I did get to watch fireworks. The night of
the fourth of July everyone got out at 8:00pm from class and went to an
devotional until 10:00pm. It was patriotic and about how religious freedom is what
let our religion to be restored. Afterward they handed out Magnum bars to
everyone and then told everyone to not go to bed until they had seen the
fireworks. That meant everyone stayed up until 11:00pm to watch the Stadium of
Fire fireworks through a chain link fence. I kind of felt like a prisoner in a
suit at that moment. A very forcsa (weird) Fourth of July. It was fun to stay
up past 10:30 though.
Since that day everyday feels the same here. It is very
scheduled. As you may get spiritual thirsty sometimes, I feel like I am
drinking from a fire hose all day. It has been wonderful though. I did get new
"investigators" this week. It is actually a little more frustrating
now because I know the language more now than i did and I feel like I shouldn't
be memorizing lines anymore. I am getting close on the language and it is
making me excited.
It is good we are getting better at the language because soon it is going to be consencration week for the ösi. Consencration week is when you only speak your mission language for an entire week. Us kicsi are going to have to translate for them when that week comes. It is going to be hard and fun.

By the way I am going to be pro at volleyball by the time I
get out of here. My companions and I play it almost every day during gym
time. Since D'Angina is a BYU volleyball player, I get all the tips. Maybe I'll
come back and play volleyball for BYU.

PS Trevor's way to say "hi" sounds almost exactly
how you would say "hair" in Hungarian = haj
