Now all the members know I play.

Anyám és Családom

Wow, what a week you all had. Stake Conference had to be amazing. I wish I could have been there. We have Stake Conference next Sunday in Pest. We'll have to be there at 7:30am for choir practice. Yep, choir. Every member here thinks every missionary knows how to sing, so we get dragged into all that kind of stuff. It's fun though.
The start of the week was pretty basic. Finding for hours, and a program or two thrown in there. What really threw it off is we finally decided to just to tabling one day, we weren't working thee hardest that day either, but then all of a sudden we were handing out Book of Mormons and getting some cool contacts all around us, while tabling. I felt humbled because although I knew I could've worked a little harder that day, God still blessed me for what I did, and He still loved me all the same. I felt very blessed.

Last Friday I went to a School band concert! It brought back many memories. The thing is though, this was a High School that specialized in music so it actually was amazing. Why we went is because Rozália, our investigator being baptized on December 1st, her daughter was playing in the concert, so she invited us, her mom, and her husband to go watch. Not only did I enjoy, but we were also able to put a good impression on her family about us. It was a win, win, win situation. We even got some Pogács out of it.

Last weekend was definitely the highlight of the week though. This is where we got even more potential investigators, and I got to see a lot of baptisms. So every Saturday we have English class, and really randomly this last Saturday, 5 different people wanted to meet with us personally to practice English and to learn about our church. We will see how legit they are this week, but right now we have 15 programs planned for this week! That is a ton here. But even more important is the baptisms. First there were the children baptisms that happened at 4 from the ward. So two little kids got baptized. We weren't actually going to go, but before we left I got caught and asked to play piano. So I did. Then the investigator baptisms happened at 6, so our investigator got baptized plus two others. It was awesome. I also played piano there as well. What an awesome experience it was to see the Lord's hand in progressing his church and helping his children, because on top of the baptism, there were a ton of investigators that came to the baptism, we even had two investigators there. It was pretty awesome.

A bad affect happened from playing the piano in the baptisms though. Now all the members know I play. So on Sunday I played in Sacrament meeting, in primary, (I am now the accompanist to the primary choir that will be performing in a couple Sundays) for ward choir, that was hard because they chose hard songs I didn't know. I totally faked my way through them. And last, but not least, a Sister missionary asked me to accompany her, because she will be singing at the next baptism. That is a lot of piano playing. Also I will be playing at the little concert thing after English class on Thursday. After English class on Thursdays the other group always do this little concert or whatever to get people interested in the church through other means. So this week is a concert. So I will be playing, "O' that I were an angel" I am very grateful you sent that to me. Basically I will need to spend some time this week practicing. What a day.

Today I went shopping for food, and then we went to a mall to find a cord for Elder Burch, and to look at hard drives, then everyone wanted to go check out some clothes. I love the clothes here. They are way classy. I am choosing not to buy any yet, but I will definitely be buying myself some before I leave. Also if I ever go to Nyiregyháza, I will be getting myself a custom made suit for 20,000ft. Or there are some super nice ones at some of the malls. Oh my goodness are malls cool here. I have only gone to a couple on p-days. They are huge! And there are so many different stores and things to buy. I had to fight temptation while I was there.

I know God is always in our lives, and I know His help is always available through prayer. I read a talk called, "Using the supernal gift of prayer," How grateful we should be that someone as insignificant as me can directly talk and receive guidance from a being much greater than I. He truly loves us, and truly wishes us to return to Him. I see miracles everyday, and I know they are from God. I truly know that this is God's church.

Well, that ends my letter. This week will be awesome like all the others.
