A Tissza Táska--say it twice fast.

Anyám és családom,

Believe it or not, Hungary actually has Daylight Savings as well. I also got an extra hour of sleep. It was quite nice. It is a little brighter in the mornings now, but it has been getting dark here at 4:30. It is weird. It feels like your day ends a lot sooner than it really does. Winter will be quite an experience.

I have actually heard a little about the storm. I did not know it was that bad though. People talk about America a lot here. Although a lot of people don't want to talk to us about the gospel. I do get people that want to talk to me about Mit Romney. Frankly I have no idea what is going on with all that, but I am not worrying too much about it. I won't be here for half of the presidency term anyway. That's alright though. I hope the East gets cleaned up alright.

I have also seen a lot of miracles in the transfer and a half I have been here. Poeple just changing themselves just to follow the word of a nineteen year old is definitely some miracle. I truly do nothing out here to help anybody. The spirit does it all. I just put myself in situations in which the spirit can work through me. That's all I can do.

My week was quite interesting.

Monday I bought myself a Tissza Táska. A bag. They're pretty cool. You'll see it in a couple pictures I will download. Also that day I got myself a memory book. It is the same idea as what Trevor did in Germany. Like a yearbook.

Tuesday was a crazy day because we randomly had this investigator that has been missing for a month, send us a text that she wanted to get baptized. So we met with here, and lo and behold she wanted to get baptized on the most recent bap date which is this Saturday. Once again I have been blessed with a random baptism. Quite amazing. I guess she made this decision after she went out to get drinks with friends, and all she could choose to drink was Coke. All her friends couldn't figure out why she wasn't drinking, and niether could she. She realized after that, that she had a real testimony about this church. Quite remarkable really.

Wednesday I got fed by an investigator. It was pretty good. She fed a rakott krummpli . . . Programs have been cool with her. She is the one that is getting baptized December 1st. We have been going through all the commandments with her, and she has been accepting them like it is nothing. Even the whole no alcohol and coffee stuff. When someone is really converted, commandments just make sense. They're almost wanted, because the person wants to know every what in which they can be clean.

Thursday was the extended P-day. Basically Hungary shuts down for Holidays and everything is closed. So I guess a while back, a mission president decided just to have extended p-days in which missionaries have the entire day off. Basically a vacation. Honestly I didn't really like it. All I did all day was play Basketball, fuzeball, pingpong, and then talk. It was quite a waste of a day, but they exist every once in a while so I just went with it. It was really weird having a whole day break from missionary work.

Friday and Saturday were basically just finding days. Nothing really came from it. The only story from all the finding I did last week would have to be the drunk Hobo I talked to for like a half an hour while he tried to exchange coats with me and tell me about his life which made no sense. He kept throwing Hungarian and then English and then a little bit of French and most of what he said made no sense. It actually got a little frustrating, but I kept my cool, and eventually he went away.

Well that was my week. Sorry this came so late. Today was a little crazy. Our baptism this week just had her baptismal interview, so that is all good and set. Oh and so I don't forget. Gábor did get baptized and he is doing well. I am still keeping in touch with him.

szeretettel
