Decker elder sent his sister this e-mail on June 10. He did not tell his mom!
I will tell you the crazy story of the week.
Mother and Father maybe wondering why I have spent a lot of
money this last week, well, there is a good reason. Last Wednesday night we
forgot to lock our door when we went to bed. Well what happend was super weird.
Elder Lynch recalls hearing someone, but I slept through it all, but as we were
sleeping a man came in and stole a lot of our stuff. I only lost my new
electric razor and my backpack, but Elder Lynch lost a lot more.
Although this super weird thing happend, Elder Lynch and I
still felt safe. Nothing really important was lost, and we felt God's hand in
our life. It was hard to work that day and the next, especially since work
wasn't the best at that time either, but God really lifted us up, and we were
able to endure, and everything is going really well. I know God is familiar
with us personally, and he loves us, and if we turn to him through prayer, he
can do all for us.
