A joy to teach the gospel

Családom és Anyukám,

I am well. The weather has actually been very good. Everyone is worried about a very hot summer here. We are already getting into the 20s here.

It is good to hear there were some baptisms last week. We had one here in Győr. It wasn't my investigator, but he asked me to baptize him, so I gratefully did. When we got into the font, there was something wrong with the programing so the water was extremely hot, as in it hurt to stand in. That poor guy had to be fully dunked into that. It was an eventful baptism.

We had two cool events this week. On Saturday there was a big elders quorum activity. We all went into the mountains, played soccer, and made a ton of paprikás krumpli over the a fire. It was a lot of fun. We also had a Birthday Party that day. An eleven year girl, of one of the families we have family night with, had a big party. We went over and hung out with a bunch of little kids for a little bit. It actually ended really good because one of the parents there now wants to learn more about us. We got her number and we are going to meet this week. Best finding ever.

Another fun thing is we were with Sissy's family, Viki and the other elders. We had a big picnic. Here by Győr we are close to the Slovakian border. It is marked by the Duna River. We were by this river playing Volleyball, and roasting marshmellows and Szalonna. It was a lot of fun, and it was really pretty to be by the river.

Best thing of the week was we had a ton of programs. It was a joy to teach the gospel. We have another investigator who will hopefully be baptized soon. Next week hopefully we will be telling more about him.

Love you all

 sok szeretettel
