We found a family!

May 21, 2013

családom és anyukám,

No worries mother. I did get your email. I totally didn't even know it was going to be a holiday until the end of the week, so we weren't able to email yesterday because everything was closed. Here I am now!:)

Last week was a ton of work again. Once again I get into an area, and wow! lo and behold, I have no investigators. Once again I am working from the ground up, but now I know what to do, and it really isn't a big deal anymore. We are having a ton of fun and getting a lot of work done.

A few note worthy things happened this last week. One was a phone call I got from Elder Ábrók. He was calling me because he was sooooo excited to tell me that the family we found is now totally legit. They had met with the husband officially and he loves it as well. I totally have found a family now in my mission! It makes me super happy.

This last week also set us up for a pretty cool week this week. Right now we have three new investigators set up to meet with. One of these was pretty funny. As we were walking down the street we all of a sudden heard someone say, "Hey guys, do you speak English?" So we turned around and ended up talking to a guy named Csaba. That was the only sentence he knew in English, but it turns out he met with missionaries a few years back, and he wants to meet again. This is one of the few times I have ever been streeted on my mission.

Yesterday was also a ton of fun. With the branch, and the elders from Kaposvár, we basically had a big sport day, and we all just hung out, and we were able to hang out with all the members, and some investigators. It was great to get out and run a little bit. They even had a football there. :)

We also had a really cool experience with an inactive. No one has seen her at church for a year, so I called her up, and she decided to meet. So we met, and we taught her about prayer. After teaching her, and having a wonderful program, she began to explain to us that when we called she had the feeling that it is about time that she comes back to church, and she was very grateful that we looked her up. So I went with it, and now we are going to help her get active.

That's all I got for this week. I am sure to see more and more miracles as I stay here longer, and I will be sure to tell you them.

Have a wonderful week!
