It was a joy.

HELLO mommy and my family,
My fourth of July went quite well. We did have to do a lot of work, but we took our dinner at night and we all got together as a district and we did a big grill, and played a couple of games. It wasn't huge, but we enjoyed ourselves and some good food.
But now to my fun life. I realized this last week that my emails have been getting a little menotonous. I think that is how you spell that. I don't know, but whatever. My emails have been getting lame. My life is just normal now, and things aren't as highlighted anymore, it is just the way it is, but this last week I tried to keep track of things that may interest you, so I will proceed my account of my adventures from hence forth.
First thing is I had Christmas this last week. I literally ate it. We visited a less active last week again, and for the road she gave us a each a jar of gyümölcs leves (fruit soup). Fruit soup is super good, but this is probably the best I have had. You know during Christmas how there is that cinnamony smell to it, especially with the candles. Imagine that, but just in taste form. I ate Christmas last week.
We are meeting with a super Catholic family right now, and they are super cool, just not too interested with our church right now. The two daughters (they are both older than me, so no worries :D Trevor I give them to you as a referral) go to English class. I thought they were cool, so I tried to be friends with them, and see if they would be interested in anything. So with time we went squashing and things with them, and then one day we accidentally knocked on their door (seriously, it was on accident) and we got to know the mom, and now we are all really good friends and we love each other, but as you know every visit we share a thought and I try to show my Christ-Like love for them by inviting them unto Christ through his church and his gospel. It is a slow process, but we are trying our best. They are very lovely people, and I think you would love them mother. Anyway, it was funny because last time the mother tried to convince me that I could go to Romania with them for a week to camp, because where she was going there would be many Hungarians, and we could teach them, and have some fun. I turned it down, but it was a very nice offer.

Last week we had the pleasure of being able to go to Családi est (family night) with the Váradi family. Reni is the sister to the mother of this family, and she lives with them. Anyway, we went over and gave a little message. I tried teaching faith to a bunch of little kids. I don't know how you did it mom and Dad, but teaching kids is some task, but I had a lot of fun, and we all grew together. After this was the fun part. Because it was Jozsi's (the dad) B-day, we played games, and ate ice cream that I brought for his b-day. We played the game where a person has a cup of water and chooses an animal, and if someone guesses that animal, he gets splashed with water. We also played where you had to dab your nose in lotion and the then on some cotton balls, and carry those across the room and put them into a bucket, and whoever got the most won. We had a lot of fun, and it was a joy to be with some members that love us.
I really hope you are liking these stories, but this last one is my favorite, but not because it was funny, or cool or anything. I don't know why this has happened, but for some reason people in the branch have been asking me a lot to give them blessings. I have given 7 already. I will tell you, I was super nervous for the first one. I had never given a blessing before in Hungarian, and I really didn't know what to say, or how to say it, but i didn't want to deny someone asking me for a blessing, so of course I said yes. I am pleased to say it works the same way in English. God just gives you the words, you say them, and you bless the person. It was such a joy to bless these people, and to see that the priesthood works in Hungarian as well. the power of the priesthood is so true, and I am happy to represent it.
Believe it or not I have more, but I will save them for another time. Love you all, and I hope you all have a wonderful time. I hope you enjoyed reading.
sok szeretettel
