Anyukám meg Családom,
This last week we went to Komlo again to visit a ton of Less
actives, but this time the senior couple from Kaposvár (Elder and Sister
Colledge) came with us to teach them, so I just translated for them. I was so
impressed with their wisdom, and how well they taught. Almost everyone that day
said, "wow, I have been needing this answer for a while." Even
through a translator they could teach by the spirit, and show their love for
them. I was very touched to be there with them.
I had another chance to translate for the senior couple from
Budapest named elder and Sister Wiggins. They are the Humanitarian senior
couple here. So all they do is serve. So i went with them to a little school
for the disabled because the church would like to donate a therapy bed to them.
So we got to have a tour to this school, and met some of the kids, and take
pictures. It was super to see the church in operation outside of just knocking
on doors. This church does a ton of good.
District meeting was super good again. I talked about how we
show and teach people that the gospel is important. We as district tried to
find out why the gospel is important, and how to present that to people. Well [the notes you sent as a family] were my inspiration. So now we have some ideas we are going to try
to spread the word. All of us have been tracting, and streeting like crazy with
no success, so now we are trying some other things like what I am about to tell
you.
We are going to collect as many testimonies and pictures
that we can and hang them in some of the parks here. So on the front it will be
like, this is Justin, he is from pleasant Grove Ut, and then his testimony, and
then on the back it will be the information on how to get ahold of the church.
So, if you could get as many people as you can who are willing, it would be
awesome!
