Anyukám és családom,
Sounds like the family reunion was a blast. The weather got
pretty bad this last week. Yesterday was 43 degrees Celsius. I believe that is
around 109, and it was humid. We survived though! I just never have sweated so
much in my life.
First thing is about transfers. I forgot to tell you all
that they would be this week. I apologize, but here is the news. I will be
staying in Pécs again, I will be District Leader again, but I will also be
training! Yep, I am getting a fresh missionary from America, and he will
probably be 18. Super weird. I have been out of the house now for 2 years, and
I will be getting someone who just barely finished High School. It will be
weird, but we are going to have a lot of fun.
Next thing. Our investigator is doing amazingly. She came to a
baptism last week, and church again.
Funny story. One night as we were heading home for the day
on the bus. A random guy with a cowboy hat, and a guitar, who was totally
drunk, got onto the bus. He first spotted a couple girls and began to serenade
them, then soon after he noticed the weird guys in white. Weird people are
always attracted to us... Anyway he chose to sing to us as well, and with all
his heart. He got so into it, he got onto one knee, but that wasn't the end of
his concert. In the middle of one of his solos he gives me his guitar to hold,
and then out of nowhere pulls out a 6 inch harmonica and started to give us his
soul from that. After laughing to 10 minutes with our drunk friend, we made it
out of the bus, and home. Best performance of my life.
Last thing for this week is about the baptism last week. It
wasn't for my investigator, but I had a good time because I had the opportunity
to teach and to sing. I did a duet with Sister Peterson. It actually sounded
really good I think. I only judge by the compliments we got. One thing I have
been practicing a lot is singing on my mission. One of my favorite things to do
now is play piano and sing. I wouldn't say I am professional or anything, but I
enjoy it.
